St. John Russian Orthodox Mission Church Feast Day, July 1-2
You’re warmly invited to join us in worship and celebration at the first patronal feast day honoring St. John the Wonderworker of America in our New Church in Winfield, and with the Bucknell University Orthodox Christian community to a special campus lecture on Psalms by a biblical scholar in honor of the event, as well as the blessing of our new onion dome for the roof of the building.

Visit by Bishop Luke of Syracuse, Abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and Rector of Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, NY: Vigil Service on Tuesday, July 1, at 6:30 p.m.
Divine Liturgy, 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, with the greeting of the Bishop at 9 a.m.
With blessing by the Bishop of the new Onion Dome and Cross for the roof of our new Temple

Campus event: Tuesday, July 1. A talk on “The Psalms and Spiritual Life: An Orthodox Christian Perspective,” by Father John Boddecker, Senior Professor of Biblical Studies at Holy Trinity Seminary, 4 p.m. at Bucknell University. At Walls Lounge, Level 2, Elaine Langone Student Center (7th and Moore).

Marking the occasion of the Feast of St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco, a 20th-century wonder-working Russian and American saint, and the opening of our new Temple named for him.
