Humanitarian Relief and Prayers for Ukraine


Bucknell Orthodox Christians are helping to send funds for humanitarian relief in Ukraine during Great Lent.

Donations will go through our local parish to our Diocese in Germany, which will send funds directly to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, which will distribute them to all in need regardless of background. All donations received will be sent 100% for relief efforts.

(c) Also, special collections for Ukrainian relief will be taken at all Lenten services of the Orthodox mission in Lewisburg, accepting cash or paper-check donations (again, please make checks out to “St. John’s Church” and put “Ukrainian relief” in the memo field.

Prayers are also being offered at all our Lenten services for peace in Ukraine.
